Rights of unemployed person 

Unemployed person has rights to:

  • participate in active employment enterprises provided in the individual job-seeking plan as well as to receive other State Employment Agency (SEA) services;
  • receive unemployment insurance services in compliance with the Unemployment Insurance Law;
  • receive scholarship during the professional training, vocational retraining or advanced training and non-formal education.
  • receive information about job vacancies and related qualification and other requirements;
  • receive career consultations.

Unemployed person can contest administrative acts issued by the SEA and its factual deeds as set forth in normative acts, submitting a respective document to the head of the SEA. Administrative acts issued by the head of the SEA can be contested in the court.
Decision can be contested within one month after its coming into the force. Decision comes into the force in the moment it is announced to the person. If a decision in a written form has been sent via mail, it is considered that it has been announced to the person in the seventh day after it has been handed over at the post office.
