From 27 April, municipalities and private providers of social services (such as associations and foundations) can submit project proposals to provide community-based social rehabilitation and short-term care (respite care) services.

The support is intended for adults with mental disabilities who have been assigned disability group I or II, children with functional impairments who have been granted disability status and live in family settings, as well as their relatives. The projects will provide practical support in daily life – helping target groups to develop social and self-care skills, increase independence and participate more actively in society. At the same time, relatives will be able to receive social rehabilitation services and, through respite care, temporarily entrust the care of their family member to professionals.

Project proposals are submitted within the framework of the second open call under measure 4.3.5.1 “Increasing the availability of community-based social services”, fourth round, announced by the Central Finance and Contracting Agency.

The total funding available under the call is EUR 9,023,799.05, including EUR 7,670,228.24 from the European Social Fund Plus and EUR 1,353,570.81 in national co-financing.

Each project must involve between 5 and 50 persons from the target group, and the maximum eligible cost per project is EUR 426,300.

Project proposals must be submitted via the Cohesion Policy Funds Management Information System (KP VIS) by 30 June 2026.
